North Carolina High School Basketball - Piedmont victorious over Central

December 6, 2024: Monroe, NC 28110

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Piedmont Panthers basketball team scored a good 60-48 triumph over the Central Eagles.

The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Patriots go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, York Prep topped Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC), 68-55, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Darlington Falcons (Darlington, SC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Central will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
