The Sacred Heart Rebels (Morrilton, AR) basketball edged the visiting Nemo Vista Red Hawks (Center Ridge, AR), 50-47 in Friday's league bout.

The Rebels now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Dover for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. Sacred Heart will play a Pirates team coming off a 57-34 league win over Two Rivers (Ola, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Nemo Vista falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Red hawks host Bradford (Bradford, AR) to play the Eagles in a 1A Region 5 bout on Tuesday, December 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Bradford won 60-43 in their recent league bout against Guy-Perkins (Guy, AR)
