In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Anacoco Indians basketball team scored a close 48-42 triumph over the Rosepine Eagles.

The Indians (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA). The Bulldogs go into the B District 4 contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Elizabeth nipped Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA), 33-30, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Woodlawn-Shreveport Knights (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Rosepine will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 55-18 non-league loss to Benton (Benton, LA).
