In Friday's league contest, the visiting Jacobs Golden Eagles basketball team scored a close 37-34 triumph over the Prairie Ridge Wolves.

The Golden Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Huntley (Huntley, IL). The Red Raiders go into the Fox Valley contest with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Huntley tipped Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL), 61-54, in a non-league battle.

The Wolves now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint Viator for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 7. Prairie Ridge will meet a Lions squad coming off a 47-35 non-league win over St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Lions record now stands at 6-2.
