The Carmel Corsairs basketball team (Mundelein, IL), dropped 35-16 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL)

The Roadrunners now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Joliet Catholic for a East Suburban Catholic battle on Saturday, December 10. Nazareth Academy will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 61-49 league loss to Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 3-6.

The Corsairs (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Lincoln-Way Central dropped by Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL), 49-39, in a non-league battle.
