The Little Rock Southwest Gryphons basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Mills University Studies Comets to 36 in the Gryphons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Gryphons now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Guy-Perkins for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Little Rock Southwest will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 41-37 non-league win over Augusta (Augusta, AR). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 6-4.

The Comets (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against West Memphis (West Memphis, AR). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record.
