Drew Central Pirates (Monticello, AR) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Providence Academy Patriots (Rogers, AR), 68-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Drew Central upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Pea Ridge (Pea Ridge, AR) to play the Blackhawks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Blackhawks come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Pea Ridge won 61-37 in their recent non-league bout against Clarksville (Clarksville, AR)

Next up, the Patriots play the The New School Cougars (Fayetteville, AR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Providence Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record.
