The McKean Highlanders basketball team (Wilmington, DE), was overwhelmed 53-24 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE)
The Green Knights now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilmington Friends for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Mount Pleasant will confront a Quakers team coming off a 56-23 non-league win over Wilmington Charter (Wilmington, DE). The Quakers record now stands at 1-0.
The Highlanders (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Delmarva Christian (Georgetown, DE). The Royals come into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Delmarva Christian trounced St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE), 52-47, in a non-league battle.
