Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the York Dukes (York, NE) and the visiting Waverly Vikings (Waverly, NE), saw York's basketball squad overcome Waverly by a tally of 41-31.

With the victory, York improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Dukes travel to Lexington (Lexington, NE) to confront the Minutemen in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Lexington lost 55-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Minden (Minden, NE)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Waverly will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record.
