In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Nansemond River Warriors basketball team scored a good 70-53 win over the Warwick Raiders.
The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Southeastern contest with a 1-0 record.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Menchville Monarchs (Newport News, VA) in a Peninsula contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Warwick will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Monarchs come into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 61-25 league loss to Bethel (Hampton, VA).
