Illinois High School Basketball - Mundelein victorious over Lakes

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Mundelein Mustangs basketball team scored a good 43-29 triumph over the Lakes Eagles.

The Mustangs (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Zee-Bees go into the North Suburban contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Zion-Benton was topped by McHenry (McHenry, IL), 39-30, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL) in a Northern Lake County contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Lakes will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 54-39 non-league loss to Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL).
