In Saturday's non-league test, the Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA) basketball squad knocked off the host Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA), by a score of 36-28.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Bethel Jaguars (Vallejo, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 10. Rancho Cotate will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 47-40 non-league win over Monte Vista (Danville, CA).

The Prospectors (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Sonoma Valley (Sonoma, CA). The Dragons come into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Sonoma Valley beat Archie Williams (San Anselmo, CA), 35-34, in a non-league test.
