California High School Basketball - Leigh overwhelms Westmont

December 8, 2022: Campbell, CA 95008

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) and the host Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA), saw Leigh's basketball squad wallop Westmont by a tally of 65-41.

With the victory, Leigh improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Branham (San Jose, CA) to play the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Branham won 73-71 in their recent non-league challenge against Saratoga (Saratoga, CA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Saratoga Falcons (Saratoga, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Westmont will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 73-71 non-league loss to Branham (San Jose, CA).
