In Thursday's league outing, the Antelope Rams (Wellton, AZ) basketball squad edged the visiting Bagdad Sultans (Bagdad, AZ), by a count of 36-33.
The Rams (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Salome (Salome, AZ). The Frogs go into the 1A West outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Salome was tipped by St. David (St. David, AZ), 45-30, in a non-league outing.
The Sultans now hold a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to San Pasqual Valley for a 1A West outing on Friday, December 9. Bagdad will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 32-29 non-league win over San Luis (San Luis, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
