The Chelsea Hornets basketball team (Chelsea, AL), was overwhelmed 59-32 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL)
The Warriors now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Helena for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 13. Thompson will battle a Huskies team coming off a 73-55 non-league win over Bibb County (Centreville, AL). The Huskies record now stands at 10-1.
The Hornets (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Northridge trounced Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL), 45-41, in a league battle.
