Harding Knights (St. Paul, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN), 69-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Harding upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Burnsville (Burnsville, MN) to clash with the Blaze in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Blaze go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Roosevelt Teddies (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Simley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Teddies go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 58-51 non-league win over Rockford (Rockford, MN).
