The Hill City Hornets basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting Northland Eagles to 73 in the Hornets league victory on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Woods (Cook, MN). The grizzlies come into the A Section 7 contest with a 2-1 record.
