In Friday's non-league match, the host Galena Grizzlies basketball team scored a good 53-43 triumph over the South Tahoe Vikings.

In their next game, the Grizzlies meet the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a match, on Monday, December 11. Galena will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Miners enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 60-51 non-league win over McQueen (Reno, NV).
