The Piscataquis Pirates basketball team (Guilford, ME), was nudged 36-32 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME)
The Golden Bucks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orono for a C North battle on Monday, December 11. Bucksport will battle a Riots team coming off a 33-15 non-league loss to Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Riots record now stands at 0-1.
The Pirates (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Penquis Valley (Milo, ME). The Patriots come into the C North battle with a 0-0 record.
