Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Centennial Titans (Frisco, TX), 63-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Denison upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Yellow Jackets travel to Princeton (Princeton, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a 5A Region II District 13 bout on Friday, December 15. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Princeton won 68-40 in their recent league bout against Sherman (Sherman, TX)

Next up, the Titans clash with the Emerson Mavericks (McKinney, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 bout, on Friday, December 15. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 66-44 non-league loss to Anna (Anna, TX).
