Virginia High School Basketball - Mechanicsville topped by Hermitage

The Hermitage Panthers basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Mechanicsville Mustangs to 66 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patrick Henry for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11.

The Mustangs (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Godwin (Richmond, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Godwin was defeated by Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA), 50-48, in a league contest.
