The Waccamaw Warriors (Pawley's Island, SC) basketball nipped the visiting St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC), 29-22 in Friday's non-league test.

The Warriors (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Braves go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Socastee was tipped by Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC), 30-24, in a non-league test.

The Sharks now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host West Florence for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. St. James will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 64-35 non-league loss to A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC). The Knights record now stands at 0-5.
