With the victory, Whitewright upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Celeste (Celeste, TX) to play the Blue Devils in a 2A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 14-0. Celeste won 38-32 in their recent non-league bout against Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX)

Next up, the Bears play the Wolfe City Wolves (Wolfe City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Sulphur Bluff will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 42-34 non-league loss to Saltillo (Saltillo, TX).
