Nebraska High School Basketball - Wisner-Pilger nudges Tekamah-Herman

Wisner-Pilger Gators (Wisner, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Tekamah-Herman Tigers (Tekamah, NE), 50-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wisner-Pilger upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Gators host Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE) to clash with the Knights in a C2 District 6 bout on Thursday, December 14. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Oakland-Craig won 46-30 in their recent non-league bout against Howells-Dodge (Howells, NE)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Tekamah-Herman will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 45-37 non-league win over Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE).
