The Rustburg Red Devils basketball team (Rustburg, VA), was overwhelmed 52-15 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Brookville Bees (Lynchburg, VA)

The Bees now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Brookville will battle a Minutemen team coming off a 34-16 non-league win over Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA). The Minutemen record now stands at 2-0.

The Red Devils (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Jefferson Forest trounced Heritage (Lynchburg, VA), 58-9, in a non-league battle.
