Troy Flying Horses (Troy, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans (Burnt Hills, NY), 68-67 in a league bout.

With the win, Troy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Flying Horses host Shaker (Latham, NY) to play the Bison in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Shaker won 66-62 in their recent league bout against Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY)

Next up, the Spartans play the Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
