North Carolina High School Basketball - Havelock over Pamlico County

December 9, 2022: Bayboro, NC 28515

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) and the host Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC), saw Havelock's basketball squad overcome Pamlico County by a tally of 42-31.

With the victory, Havelock improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Rams travel to New Bern (New Bern, NC) to confront the Bears in a 3A/4A Conference 19 challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. New Bern lost 39-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Kinston (Kinston, NC)

Next up, the Hurricanes confront the West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 14. Pamlico County will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 51-46 non-league loss to Kinston (Kinston, NC).
