The Kilgore Bulldogs (Kilgore, TX) basketball knocked off the host Gary Bobcats (Gary, TX), 26-14 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Region III District 17 test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Chapel Hill notched a victory over Arp (Arp, TX), 53-20, in a non-league test.

The Bobcats now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Shelbyville for a 2A Region III District 23 test on Friday, December 15. Gary will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 37-15 league loss to Joaquin (Joaquin, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 9-6.
