Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Miller Grove Wolverines (Lithonia, GA), 49-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lakeside upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA) to play the Wildcats in a AAAAAA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 0-11. Dunwoody lost 76-21 in their recent non-league bout against Northview (Johns Creek, GA)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Druid Hills Red Devils (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAA Region 6 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Miller Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 48-27 non-league loss to Carver (Atlanta, GA).
