San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Rancho Dominguez Lobos (Long Beach, CA), 60-8 in a league bout.

With the win, San Pedro upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Pirates host Gardena (Gardena, CA) to play the Panthers in a Marine bout on Friday, February 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Gardena lost 75-25 in their recent league bout against Narbonne (Harbor City, CA)

Next up, the Lobos play the Carson Colts (Carson, CA) in a Marine bout, on Friday, February 3. Rancho Dominguez will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 15-9 record after their 75-27 league win over Banning (Wilmington, CA).
