With the victory, Calumet improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Copper Kings host Negaunee (Negaunee, MI) to encounter the Miners in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. The Miners go into the test with a record of 15-1. Negaunee won 73-55 in their recent non-league test against West Iron County (Iron River, MI)

The Panthers now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Dollar Bay for a Copper Mountain test on Monday, February 5. Chassell will encounter a Bays squad coming off a 47-25 league loss to Jeffers (Painesdale, MI). The Bays record now stands at 2-12.
