High School Basketball - Non Varsity Opponent holds off Broome Street Academy

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Non Varsity Opponent basketball team scored a close 98-97 triumph over the Broome Street Academy Warriors.
The (172-321) will now prepare for their contest against Alak (Wainwright, AK). The Huskies go into the 1A North Slope contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Alak nipped Nuiqsut Trapper (Nuiqsut, AK), 54-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors confront the Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut II contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Broome Street Academy will attempt to better on its 18-11 season record. The Centaurs go into the contest with a 4-10 record after their 55-42 non-league loss to East Lyme (East Lyme, CT).
