The Weldon Valley Warriors basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Banner County Wildcats to 21 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Warriors now have a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Loveland Protestant Reformed Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Weldon Valley will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 58-49 non-league win over Ascent Classical Academy Northern Colorado (Windsor, CO). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Banner County falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Creek Valley (Chappell, NE) to confront the Storm in a D2 District 11 game on Monday, February 3. The Storm go into the game with a record of 1-12. Creek Valley lost 57-20 in their recent league game against Garden County (Oshkosh, NE)
