The Sweet Home Panthers basketball team (Amherst, NY), was toppled 62-54 in Friday's league battle with the host West Seneca East Trojans (West Seneca, NY)

The Trojans now possess a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amherst Central for a Section 6 Erie County II battle on Tuesday, February 14. West Seneca East will confront a Tigers team coming off a 77-37 league win over Iroquois (Elma, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 16-3.

The Panthers (1-17) will now prepare for their battle against Starpoint (Lockport, NY). The Spartans come into the Section 6 Erie County II battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Starpoint was toppled by Royalton-Hartland (Middleport, NY), 55-52, in a non-league battle.
