Tri-County Penguins (Plainfield, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Port Edwards Blackhawks (Port Edwards, WI), 37-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tri-County upgrades its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Penguins travel to Rosholt (Rosholt, WI) to play the Hornets in a Central Wisconsin - South bout on Thursday, February 16. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 12-10.

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Marion Mustangs (Marion, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Port Edwards will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 2-16 record after their 70-17 non-league loss to Rosholt (Rosholt, WI).
