In Saturday's non-league outing, the Stoughton Vikings (Stoughton, WI) basketball squad beat the visiting Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA), by a margin of 69-52.
The Vikings (18-3) will now prepare for their outing against Edgewood (Madison, WI). The Crusaders go into the non-league outing with a 4-17 record. In their last outing, Edgewood was beaten by Platteville (Platteville, WI), 78-37, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now own a 16-5 record. They play next when they host Clinton for a Mississippi outing on Tuesday, February 13. Pleasant Valley will clash with a River Kings squad coming off a 63-55 league loss to North Scott (Eldridge, IA). The River Kings record now stands at 0-19.
