Michigan High School Basketball - Waverly bests Grand Ledge

The Waverly Warriors basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Grand Ledge Comets to 51 in the Warriors league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now possess a 16-3 record. They play next when they host Okemos for a Capital Area - Blue game on Friday, February 14. Waverly will confront a Wolves team coming off a 56-50 league loss to Holt (Holt, MI). The Wolves record now stands at 14-6.
With the loss, Grand Ledge falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Mason (Mason, MI) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, February 15. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 17-1. Mason won 72-48 in their recent non-league game against Laingsburg (Laingsburg, MI)
