In Monday's league test, the Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Watertown Purple Tigers (Watertown, TN), by a score of 51-32.
Next, the Owls encounter the York Institute Dragons (Jamestown, TN) in a 2A District 5 test, on Thursday, February 13. Smith County will attempt to improve on its 8-16 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 2-17 record after their 61-49 league win over Monterey (Monterey, TN).
