South Carolina High School Basketball - Midland Valley overwhelmed by South Aiken

February 10, 2025: Graniteville, SC 29829

In Monday's league test, the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) basketball squad trounced the host Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC), by a score of 60-32.

Next, the Thoroughbreds encounter the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 test, on Wednesday, February 12. South Aiken will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record. The Fighting Green Hornets come into the test with a 15-7 record after their 66-25 league loss to Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC).

The Mustangs (5-19) will now prepare for their test against North Augusta (North Augusta, SC). The Yellow Jackets come into the AAAA Region 4 test with a 23-1 record. In their last test, North Augusta bounced Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC), 68-30, in a league test.
