The Douglas Patriots basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers to 19 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Patriots now sport a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host More for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Douglas will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 37-32 non-league loss to Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 15-4.
The Golddiggers (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against Custer (Custer, SD). The Wildcats enter the A Region 8 contest with a 11-7 record.
