The East Grand Rapids Pioneers got by the host Grandville Bulldogs ice hockey team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Pioneers (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Rockford (Rockford, MI). The Rams enter the Ottawa Kent - Tier 1 test with a 4-8 record.
Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the Byron Center Bulldogs (Byron Center, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 18. Grandville will attempt to advance on its 3-13 season record. The Bulldogs enter the test with a 14-1 record after their 3-0 league win over West Ottawa (Holland, MI).
