Pennington Red Raiders (Pennington, NJ) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Villa Walsh Academy Vikings (Morristown, NJ), 61-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pennington upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 7-17. West Windsor-Plainsboro South won 31-29 in their recent non-league bout against New Egypt (New Egypt, NJ)

Next up, the Vikings play the Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Villa Walsh Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Golden Panthers go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 104-38 league loss to Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ).
