North Carolina High School Basketball - Seaforth triumphant over Jordan-Matthews

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC) and the host Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), observed Seaforth's basketball team overwhelm Jordan-Matthews by a margin of 53-14.

The Hawks (20-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Graham (Graham, NC). The Red Devils come into the 1A/2A Mid-Carolina challenge with a 5-14 record. In their last challenge, Graham was trounced by Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC), 87-28, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Jets battle the Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC) in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina challenge, on Wednesday, February 12. Jordan-Matthews will attempt to better on its 4-17 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 53-28 league loss to Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).
