Hillsboro Hawks (Hillsboro, MO) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Festus Tigers (Festus, MO), 85-66 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hillsboro upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Hawks host Northwest (Cedar Hill, MO) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Tigers play the North County Raiders (Bonne Terre, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Festus will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 2-17 record after their 78-63 non-league loss to Valley (Caledonia, MO).
