The Carroll County Panthers basketball team (Carrollton, KY), dropped 62-50 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY)
The Bearcats now possess a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scott for a non-league battle on Friday, February 17. Walton-Verona will battle a Eagles team coming off a 74-29 non-league win over Holmes (Covington, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 11-13.
The Panthers (9-14) will now prepare for their battle against South Oldham (Crestwood, KY). The Dragons come into the non-league battle with a 12-8 record. In their last battle, South Oldham beat Owen County (Owenton, KY), 49-38, in a non-league battle.
