Minnesota High School Basketball - Lake City trounces Chatfield

The Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Chatfield Gophers (Chatfield, MN), 67-34 in Monday's league test.
The Tigers (11-12) will now prepare for their test against Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN). The Cougars go into the AA Section 1 test with a 11-14 record. In their last test, Zumbrota-Mazeppa walloped Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN), 59-52, in a non-league test.
The Gophers now own a 15-8 record. They play next when they host Wabasha-Kellogg for a A Section 1 test on Tuesday, February 14. Chatfield will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 58-47 non-league loss to Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons (Alden, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 0-23.
