In Monday's league challenge, the Holderness Bulls (Plymouth, NH) ice hockey team nudged the host Vermont Academy Wildcats (Saxtons River, VT), by a margin of 5-4.

The Bulls now possess a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Proctor Academy for a challenge on Wednesday, February 15. Holderness will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 1-1 league Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, NH). The Hornets record now stands at 3-16.

The Wildcats (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Frederick Gunn (Washington, CT). The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Frederick Gunn was edged by Westminster School (Simsbury, CT), 4-1, in a league challenge.
