The Blue Valley North Mustangs basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting St. James Academy Thunder to 53 in the Mustangs league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Blue Valley North upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Blue Valley Northwest (Overland Park, KS) to play the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Blue Valley Northwest lost 56-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Blue Valley (Stilwell, KS)

Next up, the Thunder play the Bishop Miege Stags (Shawnee Mission, KS) in a Eastern Kansas challenge, on Friday, February 16. St. James Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Stags come into the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 47-33 non-league win over Shawnee Mission South (Shawnee Mission, KS).
