Fowlerville Gladiators (Fowlerville, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Owosso Trojans (Owosso, MI), 39-37 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, Fowlerville improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Williamston (Williamston, MI) to confront the Hornets in a Capital Area - Red challenge on Friday, February 16. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Williamston won 55-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Clio Mustangs (Clio, MI) in a Flint Metro challenge, on Friday, February 16. Owosso will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 49-38 league win over Kearsley (Flint, MI).
