New Jersey High School Basketball - Veritas Christian Academy victorious over Wallkill Valley

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Veritas Christian Academy basketball team scored a good 50-38 triumph over the Wallkill Valley Rangers.

The (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Calvary Christian (Old Bridge, NJ). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Calvary Christian was toppled by Carteret (Carteret, NJ), 54-29, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rangers confront the Hackettstown Tigers (Hackettstown, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Freedom contest, on Friday, February 14. Wallkill Valley will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 4-8 record after their 55-41 non-league loss to Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ).
